Thursday Thirteen #43
13 Possible Blog Names for my Husband
I don't know what to call my husband on this blog. I've been using the tried and true "my husband", the letter A, or even the hated word "hubby" but there are instances when I'd really like to just give the poor man the dignity of a name and not a letter or category. Please tell me which names you think would be best for him, especially if you know us in real life, but even if you don't.
1. Aquila
2. Alastair
3. Albert
4. Alfred
5. Art
7. Adam
8. Paul
9. Jacob
10. Benjamen
11. Daniel
12. David
13. Joseph

I like Albert.
He looks like a Paul or a Jacob, so I vote for one of those.
How about Alastair but that's a lot of typing so heck I'm gonna say Art cuz then you'll only have to type 3 letters!
I like Alastair too.
Art is nice and short!
In my TT I'm looking back at my 2007 New Year’s resoutions…
Um... El Hubbo?
I like Art...nice and short! Happy TT!

I'm afraid I've always loved the name Alistair, but I don't know what your husband would think of it. :P
I just use my husband's first initial. It's funny too because people we know have started to call him that! lol!
My TT is up: Thirteen people who inspired me in 2007
How about DH?? I use DBF for my boyfriend, which stands for darling BF. You could say Darling Husband. Alot of people refer to their husbands by that. Just a thought:)
I refer to mine as Mr. Wonderful...only because he is my Mr. Wonderful for the last 34 years. Adam was the first man....
Alfred -- and you can be Batman! :D
Seriously. It took me awhile to figure out what to call mine, but when the right name hit me, I knew it. I hope it's that way for you.
Happy TT!
Great list, I enjoyed it very much! Come take a look at the most popular resolutions of the New year!
DEB
Why not use his real name?
I don't know you, but I'd say Adam because he's the original man. Lame reason, I know. LOL!
My Thursday Thirteen is up too! :)
Choosed something easy to remember. Art, or Adam would be good choices.
Albert:) Nice choices of names too!
Here's mine for this week!
Thursday 13
Enjoy the rest of the Holidays!
lol..this really tickled me..I hate the word hubby as well..I just use the first letter of my husbands name..I really like Alastair..I am sure he would love it...lol. Hope you have a very Happy New Year!
I like Alastair and Jacob. But what's wrong with using his real name? :o)

I have no idea. I just call my husband by his name in my blog. Happy TT.
How about instead of the famous "MR.T" Just call him "Mr. A"
Happy TT!
Come see me, too! :)

DID you get a notification from the totoos?
Albert is kind of dignified but Art is shorter for typing it out. I don't know why you wouldn't just use his real name too. If people you know are already reading it they won't think you're married to someone else.
Hubby is too casual for me too. I read a good one long ago on a site I used to write for. Can't remember what it was now.
He looks like an Adam.
He looks like an Adam to me! :D
In my blog, I call my husband "H." His real name is Dennis though. *L* H is for Hubby.
Happy TT!
I vote for Adam - the first man.
I like Alastaire, but for the blog Art would be perfect!
Happy TT!
Greets Julia
We already had a moniker selected for Ornery long before I blogged, and my TT is about him today! I am not sure why you can't use his own name, but that is surely up to you and him!

How about
Edward
Elton
Englebert
Ebeneezer?
I don't know but your list was missing "E's"
My Thursday Thirteen #62 13 People Who Left Us in 2007 edition. Stop by if you get a chance.
How about Aaron? That's a good high priestly name.
I like Art or Adam.
I like Adam cause he's the "first man" of the house. Corny, huh? Or you could go by a character trait. I call our oldest son ManChild. I like it from the Jungle Book.
I'd say Adam or Albert...
Of the names listed... Adam.
But then, there is always Abraham... a patriarch through whom all the families of the earth were blessed. I like that one...
I always think it's fun when people use clever names for their family members, but by the time I thought of doing it, I'd already been using their real names for a while.
Sorry I'm late--hope your Christmas was wonderful and that your new year will be everything you wish for!
um sorry i missed this vote, but um since i know his real name it'll take me awhile to not chuckle at "art". although i do like it...
