I tried, once again, to entertain my daughter with rice while I baked. This time I thought I'd be smarter and use a big tub to contain the rice. Turns out I wasn't smarter, just more foolishly optimistic. She took great delight in dumping big scoopfuls out onto the kitchen floor. Oh well. It does entertain her, but it's nowhere near less work for Mommy. It's just less whining for Mommy.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm glad to know there's someone out there that does NOT think the rice play-time is a good idea!

Love the fact you could combine WFMW and WW. LOL!

Cute photo ... though I'm sure it wasn't much fun cleaning up the rice all over the floor! :)

Enjoyed reading through your blog! Thanks for visiting me today!

I love the tote play area. I think you can give a kid most anything to play with and they will come up with some wonderful new idea of how to play. My kids loved good old pots and pans and wooden spoons.

That sounds like something that mine would have done! Thanks for your comment on my blog. I actually love wrought iron metal...well, metal in general. What types of things does your husband make? And his father too? That is interesting!

Your children are sooo beautiful. Mim kinda reminds me of my little girl. Yeah...the rice thing...not so good, but it makes for a cute picture and a fun story.

At least the rice wasn't cooked...that drives me nuts when I am trying to clean up rice that has somehow gone from plate to floor....arghh!! I always wait for it to dry so I can sweep it up! lol!!
