Tackle it Tuesday #4

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

We set up our Fisher-Price Little People village. We don't own all the normal sets, though. Our village includes: Barn, stable, well, zoo, Noah's ark, pirate ship, circus, amusement park, train station, campsite, castle. They aren't all visible in the picture. The only things not set up are Mommy's nativity and shepherds on the hillside sets. Of course, as per usual, the kids played for about 10 minutes. Almost half the time it took mommy to find all the pieces and set everything up. A lesson in futility. Now I will tackle cleaning it all back up.

Sounds like a "fun" tackle it!

I completely understand geting stuff out and looking for all the pieces, only to have the Boy play with it for about a minute before losing interest. Sigh!

Thanks for visiting my Tackle it.

Sounds like us & the hotwheel tracks. The Prince got like the entire set one year for b-day & Christmas, so not only does it take 4ever to set up it takes up the entire floor of his play area in his room. We try to leave it up for a few days when it gets set up, just because it is SO big of a job...thankfully he has a big enough room where we can leave it up & he can still get to bed :D.

Awww!! I love the neighborhood - can we come play? I will be setting up our Little People later this week. The kids want them out of storage. GASP!!

Oh, we had tons of little people when my boys were little. My husband said we almost needed a whole room just for little people sets. We were able to put up shelves in their room on their level so some of the bigger sets could go on and off the shelf as is. It's a chore, though, to get all the little stuff and people back in the right place.
