The children have red cheeks and they smell like puppies. Their feet are grimy and they've switched from hot to cold Ovaltine. Summer is almost here!
I only bribed them to come inside by promising them a video and some chocolate milk. Yes, I'm one of those moms. It works.

Look at those eyes. Of course they deserve cold chocolate ovaltine.
And here I was contemplating a mug of hot chocolate. Even with the 50 degrees we had today I'm feeling a bit chilly. :)
When I first met Lovely Wife, her Mom owned and ran a day-care. When the kids would come in from playing and were all hot and sweaty she'd say, "You smell like hot rabbits!". That always cracked me up. I've still never smelled a hot rabbit to know if she was correct or not.
I like Ovaltine, I like that malt flavor they put in it.
They look tired, I'll bet they've been spending some time on their new swingset. Too much fun!
And we are excited that is going to be almost 80 today! We took out the new swimming pool. Pumped it up. Carted 15 buckets of hot water and half a dozen of cold water out to the pool. Then played for 10 minutes and came in shivering!
