I make sure my kids get that experience, too, and we don't allow weed killer or very much lawn care. He'd get this big armful and the sap in the bottom would get on his little pants so that he'd have these tiny rings of stain all over the front. It took me ages to figure out what those stains were or how they got there and it was so sweet of him I couldn't really tell him not to do it anymore.
